When I turned 30, things starting going down hill. I started putting on more and more weight. In my twenties, I could skip a day of bad food and loose those extra pounds in a snap. This was no longer the case. By the time I turned 35 I was 186 pounds – the heaviest I have ever been in my life. I tried every fad diet I could find. Even tried going to a few gyms. Nothing worked.

I started getting depressed and having anxiety attacks- to the point I was put on prescription pills. A friend of mine at work came to me in December of 2016 and swore that Fusion Fitness was my answer. In January of 2017 I started attending the Fusion dance classes. Erica made the class fun and even though I was born with two left feet I found that “flailing isn’t failing” and loved it. I had also signed up for the My Healthy Goals program, and once I learned how to eat healthy I realized why all those fad diets never worked. My Healthy Goals isn’t a fad. It’s simply a way to teach you how to eat right and be healthy. It’s a lifestyle change.
I actually get compliments on my shoulders and arms when I go out, and that has NEVER happened before in my life! And what’s even better? I have officially been off those depression and anxiety pills for two months now. I no longer need them. I get my therapy from Fusion Fitness!
Then one day after class, Erica made a comment that really stuck with me. She said summer was around the corner and it was almost shorts season—so she suggested the Women’s Boot Camp classes. I had not worn shorts in public in SIX years. Didn’t matter if it was 100 degrees outside-I was wearing jeans! I hated it, but I was too embarrassed to wear shorts. So I signed up for the Women’s Boot Camp and started in March 2017. It’s been six months and the progress of my body and my spirit is amazing. I have not only lost weight, but I have also toned up — I actually get compliments on my shoulders and arms when I go out, and that has NEVER happened before in my life! And what’s even better? I have officially been off those depression and anxiety pills for two months now. I no longer need them. I get my therapy from Fusion Fitness! Women’s Boot Camp is hard and challenging but it is always changing so I never get bored, and Mike and Erica are always encouraging–you can tell that they really want you to succeed. I would recommend Fitness Fusion to ANYONE.
