Fusion Fit Mom – Lindsay Haynes


I used to be “just a runner” and was looking for something new to challenge and inspire me. I heard about Fusion through a friend and decided to sign up for Women’s Boot Camp the summer of 2014. It certainly was the challenge I needed! Waking up early was not always fun, but the way I felt when I left boot camp was worth every second of sleep I missed. I enjoyed working out along side all the other women, encouraging and supporting each other, even at the crack of dawn.

But then in early spring of 2015, I clumsily broke my foot. I was super bummed when I had to make the phone call to Erica to let her know I wouldn’t be attending boot camp for a while and I hated to put all my progress on hold. She suggested I transition to Personal Training sessions while my foot healed. They could easily work around any limitations but continue to help me make gains in my strength in other ways. Well, after a short period of time – I was hooked! I began to notice even greater changes in my body after having workouts that were tailored specifically for me and my goals. And with the Fusion team’s help, I was able to achieve my personal goal of completing a half marathon in under two hours that same December!

I’ve started to supplement my training sessions with a Fusion dance class or H.I.I.T. Circuit when I can (both provide a great sweat while having fun!). I continue to be challenged every week in my workouts to push myself longer, harder, and grow stronger. Mike and Erica are great encouragers and motivators, and they know your strengths better than you even know yourself. I’m truly grateful to have found the Fusion Fitness family!
